Game displays a misleading NVIDIA error message on launch, but support confirmed the actual cause is VM detection by EAC. Workarounds attempted without success.

EAC causes an immediate crash on launch with EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION 0x00007ffa34600001 in runtime / kernel32 / ntdll. No ban reported.

General

User successfully runs other EAC-protected games (e.g. Space Marine 2) in the same Unraid/QEMU/KVM setup. Arc Raiders appears to apply stricter VM detection. No cheating intent. Based on community reports. Not personally verified.

EAC blocks launch; game crashes at ~90% with a generic Unreal Engine error. No ban reported.

User had prior success running other EAC-protected games in the same Proxmox/QEMU/KVM setup. Arc Raiders appears to apply stricter VM detection than comparable EAC titles. No cheating intent — purely a homelab/learning environment. Based on community reports. Not personally verified.
