Game initially showed "No GPU detected" error. Fixed by importing NVIDIA driver registry keys from a bare-metal machine into the VM. Diablo IV appears to manually verify NVIDIA driver file presence rather than querying DirectX 12 directly.
After registry spoof, game launched and ran without issues. AMD GPUs reportedly work without this workaround; the issue appears to be NVIDIA-specific. Based on community reports. Not personally verified.
hypervisor.cpuid.v0 = FALSE and svga.present = FALSE set in VM config. NVIDIA GeForce Experience installed. GameStream + Moonlight used for display output (no video output due to svga.present). No Error 43 encountered with this configuration.
