EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) not tested in official online mode. Seamless Co-op mod bypasses EAC entirely, no blocks or bans observed. VM detection behavior of official EAC online mode is unknown.
No visual glitches or rendering artifacts. GPU passthrough works flawlessly out of the box.
Performance on par with bare metal. No crashes, no frame pacing issues, no noticeable overhead.
Tested exclusively with the Seamless Co-op mod. Multiplayer via Seamless Co-op works perfectly and is indistinguishable from bare metal. If you plan to play Elden Ring in a VM, use Seamless Co-op, it bypasses EAC entirely.
Easy Anti-Cheat blocks the game from launching inside a virtual machine. The game exits immediately with an error stating that it cannot run under a VM environment.
Some users report that spoofing motherboard and BIOS information may bypass the VM detection. This workaround is not confirmed to work in all cases.
The issue appears to be caused by Easy Anti-Cheat detecting the virtualized environment at launch. Based on community reports / reproduced behavior
